2nd and 3rd Cash Prizes

To be eligible, applicant must be 18, and no older that 30, on March 16, 2001. Semi finalists will be selected on the basis of the taped auditions to compete in the final round at the FFMS 01. Three finalists will be chosen and presented in recital performing one of the three audion pieces listed below.

Taped audition repertoire:

J. S. Bach: Sonata in b minor, BWV 1030, any edition
- II. Largo e dolce (no repeats)
- III. Presto (no repeats)
Robert Muczynski: Three Preludes, Op. 18
- ii. Andante molto
- iii. Allegro molto
Georges Huë: Fantaisie (any edition)

The semifinal and concert pieces are the same, and each winner will play one of these pieces in the closing recital. Smartmusic may be used for accompaniment on tape application, if desired. Tapes must be postmarked by January 29, 2001, and mailed with completed application form:
