Tvrtko Sarich

Tvrtko Sarich was born in 1969 in Gospi, Croatia. After completing his secondary music schooling with prof. Istvan Römer and receiving a certificate in guitar performance, he graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of prof. Darko Petrinjak. He attended a one-year specialisation course at the Music academy in Lovran where he studied with prof. Goran Liste.

He attended numerous master-classes where he has collaborated with distinguished professors, such as V. Depalj, M.L. Saomarcos, D. Russel, R. Issac, M. Barrueco etc.

Tvrtko Sarich performs regularly, in homeland and abroad (Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mexico). He has given over hundred concerts, as a soloist,and as a member of other duos or chamber ensembles, usually being accompanied by guitar, flute, piano, violin, viola or voice. As a soloist, he premiered the Concertino for guitar and orchestra by Mexican composer Juan Trigos, playing with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra; he also played with the string quartet Malpera and String orchestra from Celje.

He is a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and ensemble Cantus. His performances have been recorded by numerous radio and television stations, and together with the pianist Damir Greguri, he recorded an album called Insieme in 2001. produced by Slovenian record-company Coda.

Tvrtko Sarich is the founder of the Summer classical music festival in Gospi. As a teacher, he has been working in the Higher teaching-trainer school in Gospi as well as in Music school in Trebnje, Slovenia.
